Would say though that the blame more likely lands at Apple's door than Duolingo's.
The idea that because you're using a device that's 10 years old it must be useless is not only obviously not true, but intentionally excludes the huge percentage of the world population that isn't rich enough to 1) get first dibs on latest tech and 2) be well-served by cheap or free education. Understand there's a bottom line for a profit-driven company like duolingo but it's shite that it's not a priority for a language learning app to support a really broad range of devices.
